Portrait of artist Lise Lecerf

Lise Lecerf

I am an emerging artist working with photography, scan art, and mixed media. My practice explores identity, intimacy, and the ways emotional states can become visible through image, colour, and texture.

Much of my work focuses on queer and femme experiences and develops through collaborative portrait sessions and project-based series. I am interested in moments where identity feels shifting or uncertain, and where the image resists being fully defined.

Through portraiture, I explore the tension between visibility and concealment - how bodies appear, distort, and move within the photographic frame. Rather than presenting identity as fixed, my work creates space for ambiguity, gesture, and emotional presence.
